The role…
As Director of Data Science, you will be involved in building out the data science team from the ground up. You will be part of the leadership team (reporting into the SVP of Product and Engineering and VP of Technology) and will influence the company’s worldwide data science strategy.
You will be required to:
- Build out the data science team and the company’s worldwide data science function.
- Build and implement machine learning models to solve business problems.
- Work in tandem with the Data Architect to build out the data strategy of the team.
- Communicate and Interact with the leadership team about building out the data science function.
- Liaise with the external Data Science function to bring the services in-house.
You will have…
- Master’s degree in a STEM subject.
- Extensive hands-on experience in data science and machine learning.
- Experience building out a team/ data science function.
- Experience recognising how machine learning/ statistical modelling can be used most effectively solve business problems.
- Strong Python skills.
- Cloud experience (AWS or GCP preferred).
